This posed no problems for the instrumental parts – her innate musicality and classical training made composing and communicating her intention to other musicians easy. Thurston Moore and Kim Gordon filmed cameos as bartenders at the New York City underground hangout that young Danny hangs around in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie. This scene had the Sonic Youth members praising the work of Shredder's Foot Soldiers but contained two F-words from Thurston and was later scrapped along with other questionable material to help the film remain clean enough for a PG-13 film rating. Scrapped from the second Turtle film's script was an entire subplot involving Danny's grunge band, Mudgarden.
