I think "minor hit" is the end result and, sadly, I don't think this is enough evidence to dunk on deej

minor hit basically means deej was right imo

I'm just impressed that songs like t-shirt do so well in the mainstream US charts. It's at number 82 here and Bad & Boujee didn't enter the top 30.

this isn't the time to throw in the towel! GET INVOLVED. DO SOMETHING. GET ON SPOTIFY. LISTEN TO T-SHIRT.

Atlanta Rap Trio Inspires “T-Shirt” Fashion Trend
Atlanta (AP) – From Beatle boots to the dressed-down “grunge” look of the 1990s, musicians have often inspired trends in the fashion business. The latest of these fads comes in the wake of the Atlanta rap trio Migos and their hit song “T-Shirt,” which has now topped the charts in over 56 countries worldwide.
The t-shirt is a style of unisex fabric shirt – generally made of cotton – with short sleeves, a crew or v-neck collar that often sport colorful graphics featuring popular phrases or imagery from movies, music, television or professional sports teams. Until now, the t-shirt has been an underground phenomenon, but thanks to Migos the once lowly garment is suddenly everywhere.
From soccer moms to millennial urban “hipsters,” there’s a t-shirt for everyone – and everyone appears to be getting in on the craze. It’s definitely set to be the fashion fad of summer 2017. And, while the chorus of Migos’ “T-Shirt” exclaims “17-5 [slang for $17,500 - Ed.], same color t-shirt”, you won’t have to pay nearly that much; most t-shirts retail from $15 to $30. Affordable and stylish? That’s the kind of “Culture” trend we can all get behind.

I listened to "T-Shirt" today. It's far from my favorite song on Culture but we can't let the perfect be the enemy of the good.

MTV's Meaghan Garvey gets it:
http://www.mtv.com/news/interactive/migos-cover-story/
the month after CULTURE’s release sees temperatures across the country hit forebodingly unseasonal highs, meaning t-shirt weather for usually snowbound cities. Meanwhile, the album's second and best single, “T-Shirt,” cracks the top 20 songs of the Hot 100. Which, yes, global warming. But also: Hurricane Migos.
