Or maybe it's "Cruel Summer" by Bananrama. Whatever that descending melody is closer to.

I can finally listen to this.
Oh wow!

Who is producing this one? Overtime was Bicep and Simian Mobile Disco, Adore You was the guy from Metronomy.
Is he using another producer in this one? It sounds amazing.

Oh I found some info/
James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco), Benji B and Matthew Travers contributed production.
I don’t know who Matthew Travers is but this sounds great.

https://www.theguardian.com/music/2020/feb/15/jessie-ware-music-new-album-food-podcast-with-mother-recipe-book
To make the new album, she booked time with a producer whose studio was walkable from her home. This meant that when Ware and her husband had a second child (a boy in spring 2019) the music carried on around the edges of their life, not the other way round. She says the new album will be about “joyful escapism…sexy, seductive, late-night music that you can get lost in”... her idea for the new album was that it would be confession-free, but without chasing any of the old mystique.“Oh, I’ve fucked the mystique by now,” says Ware. “The podcast has seen to my mystique. People know what I’ve eaten. What I’ve argued with my mum about this week. The mystique is not there. I’m absolutely never going to be FKA Twigs. And that’s OK.” She looks aside, as if struck by a thought, and says: “Ooh, Twigs. We should try and get her on as a guest, shouldn’t we?”

So excited for you to hear this one; a two-year labour of love with the dream team @jamesellisford, @shungudzo, Danny Parker, @Kindness, Coffee Jr, @metronomy, @TheRealBenjiB, @midlandsound, Matty and @MorganGeistNYC. I love it so much and these guys are so incredible.— Jessie Ware (@JessieWare) February 27, 2020
looks like she worked with most of her collaborators from the three singles so far some more (no Bicep though unfortunately) but the most exciting new name there is Morgan Geist

Because Tough Love exists, I can't quite call Spotlight her best single but it's already right up there. Her best of/singles collection is going to be insane.

respect to Jessie but Glasshouse worried me a bit for being a bit unmemorable; it wasn't a sign of her eroding skill, it was more a concern i had that her path was aiming away from her greatest strengths. Everything from this has sounded amazing tho.

I feel like there’s a real nostalgia for Devotion in this album?A lot of people have made that comment. I think this album is reminiscent of who I was as an artist when there were no external pressures. I did draw on the feel that we created when we worked on Devotion. It’s naivety. It’s not about overthinking or anything autobiographical—it’s about just wanting to dance. Are you mindful of the fatigue and pressures you will be subjected to with the release of this new album?I think I am in a much better place with everything now; it’s a real pleasure to be working again. I’m reminding myself of how it all should feel, and I’m aware that it can be taxing, but I’m focused on not saying yes to everything. There is a real beauty to saying no, and I’d forgotten that for a bit. I think the podcast is like a full-time job. I have a cookbook out next week that I made with my mother, which is completely bizarre. That comes out while I release an album that people will hear and want to have sex to. That’s just two different ends of a spectrum. That’s the constant balance, and, of course, my family! I have wonderful management and a great new label; it’s all just feeling good.
