Going through the playlist, I realised that I hadn't paid much attention to the Haim singles this year. They're all pretty strong but yeah, Now I'm In It is by far the best.

I voted yesterday and am now listening to the Kim Gordon album and realizing I should have put it much higher on my ballot. So people should listen to this and then vote for it. "Hungry Baby" is so good, I should have nominated it in tracks.

Got both lists down to around 30 but really struggling this year to cut those final five or so from each list

i didn't do much trawling through the noms this year because... well, i think i've got a solid list that really reflects what i was attracted to this year (even though i kinda felt like i didn't pay attention at all). but i did see this black coffee remix on the list and think "well, black coffee fucking rules, i'd better listen to that" and eight minutes later i'm weeping
