brad and I and others love these clowns

I slightly prefer the debut still but the 2nd album is growing on me. they should be 10000x bigger than they currently are

I'd love to see them live, it seems like it would be a fun show.

I also watched an interview with Gould and Ian Miles about Miles' psychotic breakdown last year — pretty extreme stuff, but it seems like Gould and the rest of the band handled it with great care.

"napalm girls" is a great way to lead off this thread

that pop-punk shit -> powerhouse chorus

gets me every time

Yeah it’s a winning combo. One thing I like about them is their unironic fluency in those kinds of big rock moves.

the opening lyrics to Annabelle made me lol (but in a good way!)

Annabelle
We're both going to hell
You're gonna love the clientele
Cheap rent and the climate's swell

I also like the little girl whispering "God has left the building" on that song. They have a (very British) knack for combining archness and earnestness.

Enjoying this! Not as strong on tunes as the last one imo, but still tons of hooks and I dig the pomp-metal ridiculousness of it all. Delivered with a straight face, as good Goth should be.
