Silver Springs was left off the album because the overall length (at that time) would have meant sacrificing the bass response by narrowing the grooves.

Of course on CD that doesn't matter so it was restored.

i love "dreams" and i think it's cool that it's becoming a hit for the second time

If we count covers and remixes this is actually like the fifth time “dreams” is a hit.
