watched 7 eps of Jools Holland last week, hoping it won't taint Uncertain Smile

Never had it on vinyl. I presume second side starts with The Twilight Hour?

yep - i actually hadn't listened to this in a really long time - i found the record in a dollar bin a few years ago and bought it. my older brother used to play this regularly when it came out (he got hip to it when he was in college) and it's kinda of burned into my memory. anyway, the second side, starting with 'twilight hour', flows real nice. more understated than side two (which i love as well). 'perfect' kind of fucks it up - this weirdly inappropriate sounding song as an epilogue? i can see why johnson wanted it off the cd reissue.
listening to it again. totally smokes...

wait till you hear the new version of giant thats out by end of the year if all goes according to plan.
not by the the, but someone else, though featuring matt on vocals.
the demo is a massive 10 minutes long.
totally brilliant.
