It appears twice. And even if it appeared ten times, it's obviously not some "miserable rockism argument."

not that it matters, but three times: once in the header, once in the body of a post, once as a category tag on the same post

all of these tumblr blogs would be 100000x better without the commentary. the author always talks as if they're auditioning for a spot on vh1 'I love the 80s'
someone trying really hard to be snarky when they don't actually have anything to say *at all* = painful to read.
(insert joke about ilx here.)

Hey, what we need here is a string of amusing and awesomely uncomfortable YouTube music videos! Too bad we can't recycle British glam chancers, since they don't make much sense in the context of a US crowd.

I've watched this show and I find it very hard to believe they hold auditions.

there are some good jokes, but they need an editor! like the guys with the neil young shirts -- if the caption was just something like, "so who's going to be trans?" it'd be much funnier (to me, anyway). it's the "throw twelve darts at the board and one's bound to stick" school of comedy.

mean spirited, not funny. some of the ppl pictured look ok to me.

I'd much rather hang out with most of those people than the d-bags who say "rock is dead, I only listen to "_______." It's kind of refreshing sometimes to go to some outdoor fest where the audience goes nuts for whoever, rather than stonefaced hipsters with arms folded and sticks up ass.

wtf at either not recognizing peter stormare or recognizing him but writing the snark about him anyway as if he's not going to eat your soul.
i mean he looks relatively benign in that photo and he's sporting some of the relevant dadrock signifiers, maybe, like a beatles tee and a comic book guy ponytail but stormare never looks like he's not contemplating eating your soul or else he just ate your soul and he's temporarily satiated.
i don't have a problem w/ ppl doing another variation of an established concept but leave stormare out of it unless the concept is ppl who look like they just devoured somebody's soul cf what i said previously.
