The Independent should do a piece where their reporter trawls the secondhand record shops of London's infamous Berwick Street trying to see if she can get £30 for the 12 nominees from 10 years ago.

It's good they're marking this momentous occasion, I was considering petitioning my local MP to mark it with a parade or street party, or maybe going right to Gordon Brown to request an extra public holiday.

God knows I've already festooned my stereo with bunting.
