I have a ticket for the Gojira/Mastodon tour this fall and want to start exploring Gojira's discography before the show. My favorite Mastodon albums are the earlier ones before the songs got less complex — Leviathan, Blood Mountain, and especially Crack the Skye are all-timers for me.
With that in mind, where should I start with Gojira?

mars and flesh are like co #1s for me, i would def start w those. then a slight gap then magma and sauvage are also really close.
