Anyway, the whole album leaked recently but I'm not gonna download it, my excitement levels are just too high to do such things to A Pee.

some of this album reminds me why i love ariel pink. pretty much all the 2nd half though makes me fucking hate him. so tiresome.

definitely overloaded. He could have saved a bunch for b-sides but I guess he just had to vomit.

its not even that its overloaded, its just too many stupid songs.

"Black Ballerina" alone undoes a lot of the goodwill he'd built up over the first half.

That may be the first instance of him ever building up goodwill, so there is that.

"black ballerina" is one of the best songs on it

fuckin "sexual athletics" is #1 though. downright guttingly brilliant

does anyone else hear One Summer Night as a wink/nudge to Mac DeMarco? the very specific flanged guitar sound and vocal delivery are really similar
