The (singles) charts in England are based purely on sales, not on airplay. This means they're a lot faster moving than the US charts. I really like the UK charts for the mix of musics you get in them but judging from your previous posts David you wouldn't like any of it.

everyone buys whatever some media outlet tells them, no? whatever you listen to? i mean, saying just becuase the media push spiritualized, coldplay, badly drawn boy, interpol,radiohead, doves, flaming lips whatever college rock bizness, dont forget the same happens with xenakis, arovane, glen campbell, bump'n'flex, nelly, jay-z or offenbach too
