Since there seems to be a fair amount of fans on the list, be sure to check out http://klf.life.eu.org/Sounds/

TONS of out-of-print MP3s, including the four singles mentioned at the beginning of 45 (personal favorite is "Gimpo"). If you already know about it, forgive.

That link don't work and I am bummed, this sounded like a fun way to spend an evening

J0hn Darn13ll3, Tuesday, 22 October 2002 21:23 (twenty-three years ago)

Aaron W owes J0hn a fun evening.

Andy K (Andy K), Tuesday, 22 October 2002 21:53 (twenty-three years ago)

Doesn't work for me, it seems like there is some way of accessing it, but only after you have proved you're a KLF fan I presume. How did you get it to work Aaron?

Chewshabadoo (Chewshabadoo), Tuesday, 22 October 2002 21:58 (twenty-three years ago)

start from here and it should be okay:

the fabled Mancentral, one of the better KLF sites around.

threemetalinsects (threemetalinsects), Wednesday, 23 October 2002 03:20 (twenty-three years ago)

My bad guys... guess you can't link directly or something. Thanks for posting one that works, Andrew. There is MORE than an evening's worth of fun btw!

Aaron W., Wednesday, 23 October 2002 03:45 (twenty-three years ago)

That site makes me wonder what kind of music JG Ballard listens to. Hmm.

Ma t t (Mat Bo), Wednesday, 23 October 2002 05:28 (twenty-three years ago)

wow... the KLF are fucking awful! who knew?

chris2002, Wednesday, 23 October 2002 05:31 (twenty-three years ago)

How to access the MP3s:
Click on the link above (http://klf.life.eu.org/Sounds/)
When the page about "clean your disc cache" comes up, press reload/refresh in your browser. It worked for me.

sorry to hijack the thread slightly, but is anyone else going to the sinclair "london orbital" thing (which has contributions from ballard and cauty/drummond) at the barbican this coming friday?

two years pass...
Has this site disappeared completely, or has it just gone elsewhere?

PJ Miller (PJ Miller 68), Monday, 22 August 2005 08:31 (twenty years ago)

KLF fans should check out Jimmy Cauty's new project, the Transit Kings!

I just came upon 163 KLF related youtube videos

Probably not to much you wouldn't find by searching "KLF" but its interesting to see them all organized. This may be entertaining in the ample downtime left in my winter break.

TracerHandVEVO (Tracer Hand), Sunday, 4 May 2014 23:41 (twelve years ago)

lot of people wish for it to be true.

Which makes me doubt it very much.

from the 'KLF Online' facebook page:
"There has been some speculation over a recently surfaced video hinting at a possible return of The KLF in 2017, making the news even beyond the usual music magazines.
After a brief statement by Bill Drummond shared on KILTR by Brian Beadie (which of course cannot easily be verified but sounds about believable to us) now Jimmy Cauty has tweeted a link to K2 Plant Hire's official Twitter account, making an identical statement about the recent rumours and denying a possible return.
However, the very same statement mentions that "[...] The Justified Ancients Of Mu Mu are currently at work in their light industrial unit. This work will not be made public until the 23rd of August 2017."
It's gonna be an interesting year."

nxd, Thursday, 5 January 2017 15:02 (nine years ago)

K2 Plant Hire's previous work has always been industrial installations (whether actual or conceptual) and Cauty's most recent exhibitions have been installations (of miniatures, not grand-scale). No reason not to take them at their word here.

Ned Raggett, Thursday, 5 January 2017 17:59 (nine years ago)

are there any good real or fake chillout-style KLF bootlegs out there?

in other news : a music making friend picked up an old akai s9000pro from a studio clearout.
turned out it was (probably) nick colers kit, as it had discs with it that had all the klf samples etc.
of course i cannot verify this, but the bloke did not really push this information far and wide,
instead he used the kit for his next bloghouse near-hit.

mark e, Thursday, 5 January 2017 19:01 (nine years ago)

You guys watched the 40 min film that got thrown up on the internet? A history of the JAMMs starting with bits of The Rites of Mu going right through to Tammy Wynette, expertly edited. It's unofficial probably but very cool.
