which is all the more extraordinary given that i work in crappy West Ealing overlooking a small green/park designed for kids

whoever's spinning has been playing classic funk, breakbeat remixes of X-Press II and just now dropped 'I Feel Love' then switched to 'Upside Down' by Diana Ross...

even weirder - there's a small marquee/tent type thing but only about 5 or 6 vehicles and practically no people around other than a few bemused bystanders and people in the tent i assume. i'm goin to go check it out...this guy is good!

no it was just the 'Lazy' chorus over a Stanton Warriors type thing...

typically i get there and they're all packing up...i saw a couple of guys with small record bags and there was a basic PA system being slowly taken apart but nothing to suggest what had been going on or why at all...i noticed another tent and posters earlier but didnt check it out...colleagues thought it was some 'bible-bashers' but the music was too good! ;)
