Because I don't know about you, but I do think that the whole pop scene is crying out for welcome input from those of us who resemble the robust, glum-faced Glaswegian crimebuster.

Less lisping and wistful winks at the camera; more slouching about in a grubby raincoat during a downpour, followed by six straight shots of Bell's in an appropriately gloomy "gastro-pub."

We need a "Messiah" to save us from wonky Will and garrulous Gareth, not to mention desclamated Darius!
