This is all over the radio but I can't google the lyrics anywhere or find it on the radio playlists. Smooth precise beats in four and sweet jodeci-like harmonies and the lead asks the girl to "step in the name of love... ooh snap in the name of love" and damn this is a great song.

Okay, this would be "In The Name Of Love" by R. Kelly from the bootlegged Love Land sessions.

Anyway it rocks.

C'mon everyone! Talk about this! A chart hit about stepping, finally. Also how great is the "makes me wanaaaaaahhh..." bit where his voice just swings right around like a slingshot?

C'mon everyone! Talk about this!

Talk about R. Kelly was banned under the Gary Glitter Embarassed Throat Clearing Statute.

But R. Kelly has a new album coming out name "Love Land" and this single is all over the chicago charts and I think the album will still sell and chart.

So, meh.

I believe I might cry.

Ahahahaha! The album has a track called "Come to Daddy" and a 10 minute remake of "I Believe I Can Fly" called "Fly" where the lord speaks to him and the church casts him out. This is so great.

The album has a track called "Come to Daddy"

Hearing R. Kelly singing "I WANT YOUR SOOOOOOOOOUL!" would be worth it. A remake of the video set in Cabrini Green or something would be even better.
