so my friend in miami has got this large-ish (50mb) file that i wanna receive: he's on a home pc, i'm on a university mac. firewall means he can't send the file to me directly using aim. i *can* use limewire, but when we both connect and i search for the while, i get nuthin' (we're prob on diff limwire servers. is there any way to remedy that?). are there any other filesharers for mac? (i don't have virtual pc, and i'd be allowed to install it on that computer).

what are my options here?

Hotline is an option for mac <-> pc filesharing.

Server for pc: http://www.tucows.com/preview/195607.html

Client for mac: http://download.com.com/3000-2147-6545901.html?tag=lst-0-1
