XMAS is early this year!! 11/16 Savage Republic and The Sun City Girls- Who else is hitting both?!?!

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who's going to be making the rounds that night. So what I was thinking was finding out what time Savage Repulic is going on stage and do the same with the Sun City Girls. Word on the street is that the set times are trying to be worked out and that the Sun City Girls may play another show but I haven't heard or seen anything about it. I would be more than happy to call either Southpaw or The Knit when one is over and we can organize a group "Exodus" to the other show.. Those interested, especially if you got a cell phone and/or car-cause I don't-get in touch.

Out here my worry was that SR and the Legendary Pink Dots were on the same night, but thankfully an extra SR show takes care of that problem.

I have a feeling I'll be playing Maco Polo that night but the phrases yelled will be "hstencil!!", "brg30!!". Eventually I will be handed a Tim Buckley CD-R :-)

Oh boy!! But remeber Ned, neither band has played on the East Coast for over 10 years!!!

Oh shit, yeah, I keep forgetting to send your CD-R. Currently I'm on a business trip, so I will probably not get it out until the end of the week...

...unless you wanna meet up at the Knit for SCG. I've already got my ticket. I'm gonna try to hit the Savage Republic show too. (it's not far off the N/R, but if we get a posse together a car would be cheap).

one month passes...

For those who missed the Savage Republic reunion, we have multi-track digital recordings of our L.A., S.F., and Chicago shows. There are good mini-disk recordings of the NYC and Portland shows, and video of the LA, SF, NYC shows.

Portions will be made available on http://SavageRepublic.com in 2003.

BIG THANKS for those of you brave enough to weather the storm and see us at South Paw.
