Actors/Actresses Who Make Great Musicians

I couldn't think of a single one besides J-Lo(is she great?), and she was a Fly Girl before an actress. It came up in conversation at dinner tonight and I was completely stumped. Sub question, did Ronald Regan ever have a music career?

I was gonna start this thread myself after the death of Richard Harris last week..

i spent part of last week going through the five albums of his in my collection, and it got me thinking... there's not many actors who make convincing singing/musical careers as a sideline...

So, although he wasn't a musician (to my knowledge) he made some damn great (and in some cases pretty strange) records.....

Are they any good?

Keith Carradine is an actor who played in several Robert Altman films, among other things. His track "I'm Easy" won the Oscar in '76 as best song (from the movie Nashville) and was a hit.

Jessica Harper (Suspiria, Pennies from Heaven, etc.) now records children's music.

twenty-one years pass...

Reviving this thread as a catchall for actors who make records. Vera Farmiga is apparently a secret metal fan, and has a band, the Yagas, with her husband. At the three-minute mark, this song becomes surprisingly heavy.
