I have seen a shockingly low amount about this guy commensurate with the quality of his music. Brief bio: Jessie Ware's touring drummer, now solo artists, if Abel's like half of MJ then maybe he's the other half.

(basically, imagine an entire album of "Imagine It Was Us")
I was pleased to read your positive review of this the other day, Katherine. I've been anticipating this album for a while based on the singles over the past year. It doesn't disappoint, even if it's a little samey throughout. The songs definitely shine through when they come up in random play mixed in with a bunch of other artists.

i am digging it. i love all the synths, it has that warm glowy very retrofunk vibe of some of dam-funk's stuff but dornik is a much better singer than dam

dam-funk's softer, more rnb-ish stuff like not necessarily his party boogie funk stuff

synths on "shadow" are beautiful

and yea good review katherine!
Yeah, this was the standout for me as well. Even over other songs I'd already heard.
