Deadly Avenger - classic or dud?

Heard a track called 'We Took Pelham' that a friend played me today, and although I like it, I can see the album (which was recommended by the same bloke) could go one way or the other?

So, orchestral sampledelic genius or the Rob D its okay to like?*

*I don't know anything about him whatsoever, incidentally.

classic for 'Charlie Dont Surf' (from the 'Battlecreek EP' i believe)if nothing else - old skool samplefest including the main hook - the theme from The Streets Of San Francisco

Amorphous Androgynous (aka FSOL) have done a beautiful remix of DA's 'Day One' too so hunt that down if you can

Classic. He started out working with Depth Charge,so is similar in a lot of ways to that stuff. He's a lot less crusty than Depth Charge, and also uses more cinematic/jazzy samples.

I think he's the guy behind Dorothy's Fortress now too?

Hit or miss for me
