2016 - Favorite Unheralded Album(s)

We've just passed the halfway point of the year. Tell me about the albums you can't stop listening to that are going under the radar, either critically/commercially speaking. Or maybe they are rated decently, but not quite as highly as you would rate them? Why wait for the end of year to push your favorite unheralded albums?

Basically I'm saying I'm a lazy old sod who only has time to check a few websites to discover new music, ILM being a critical one. Feed me.

i'm listening to this album called stone café by leah dou, a chinese singer-songwriter who just happens to be the daughter of faye wong, and i think it's something a handful of ILX people would like

DNA by Lovespeake: Accusations of pastiche could be levied against it, and some of them would stick, but there's some very nice mid-80s sophistipop/balearic elements at its core—not a rare thing, but rarely done well. I think it is very nice, but none of their songs are even above 500k plays on Spotify which means it's got a pretty low profile.

Impuros Fanaticos by Fumaça Preta.
Garage, post-punk, psych with metal riffs, spooky/angry vox (in Portugese) with synths and other stuff providing a textural grid/t that as whole is still very danceable.

I like Ben Watt's Fever Dream quite a bit and I've not seen it discussed at all.

I suspect a lot of the Marling fan on the board will enjoy what is probably my favorite record this year, here's a single:

Im really enjoying the Dexy's cover album. Great version of Leann Rimes' "How Could I Live" on it

just discovered this a few weeks back.. kinda recalls Perlence from Quaristice (Autechre), or sound patterns and structures that Perlence hinted/suggested at. it's certainly more enjoyable than OPN's recent work.
