How do I use private mode on mobile? Been playing a lot of Christmas music and don't want my Daily Mixes to get fucked up.

It is set to private, but not to hide "embarrassing listening habits". It's just something that doesn't need to be publicly available imho.

No. I will never understand people that do this. Particularly anyone over the age of at least 25.

Nope, and I don't get this whole concept of guilty pleasures and embarrassing music either.

my wife and I use this sometimes. Let's just say that there's a "Hot Times" playlist that doesn't get broadcast to the general public...

I did this when my kids discovered Spotify because irritating people kept making very original well-formed joeks about how I was listening to a lot of Raffi, which was funny on a Monday and tedious as fuck by Tuesday

xpost i hear that moodles, sometimes in mid-summer you just gotta blast the heat is on, in the heat of the night, hot in herre, etc, even if it does fuck up your stats and recommended playlists

No, but I do often lock my door when listening to records at home so no one can walk in and make fun of me.

If this was "Do you ever delete anything from Last.fm?" then my answer would've been "Yeah, audiobooks, podcasts, anything tagged <unknown> and everything my 5-year-old listens to, at least I did until Last.fm made it a massive chore, now I don't bother any more."

But I didn't even know I had a public profile on Spotify.
