his solo album isn't front-to-back amazing but there's a bunch of great tracks on it and it is interesting that he seemed to come at it with a totally different style than he used on his guest spots - his delivery is way more regimented/on-beat (which was an improvement imo)

That's fine. I'l post all the pre-loaded songs in here later but Im only going with everything up through '97. I don't think all tracks from 'The W' through 'A Better Tomorrow' are good enough to be auto nominated. So I'll go with all the tracks in these albums (and the albums) being auto-nominated.

Man Deck's made way more albums than i would've thought!
― Οὖτις, Friday, 8 September 2017 17:13 (six years ago) link
i popped in my Uncontrolled Substance CD the other day and it's just ok. I used to stan for that album pretty heavily probably just to have some contrarian pov but outside of a handful of solid tracks it's underwhelming. The Pete Rock produced 'Trouble Man' is great but low key.

Shining Star has some sweet Ol Dirty actionhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3aPLen_0_kk'Isreali News' beat is rad, 'Natural High' is great.Intellectuals has some good U-God verseshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIRVVeDDRog

Sunz of Man never got to release their album the way they wanted to, right? Their singles are written about in Kodwo Eshun's More Brilliant Than the Sun, and yeah, a few songs are good.

their og album yeah got shelved then the one talked about above was their debut but there was already feuds going with RZA. Think some of those og songs got released on Testament later? Could make a killer tracklist with the best of their early work.
