We haven't had one of these threads since 2014, but the bands keep on plugging away, so we need a new one.

The first single from the new Uriah Heep album, out in September, kicks ass. 21st century Uriah Heep > 21st century Deep Purple, and it's not even a contest.

Not sure if this is specifically for brand new material or what, but this video of an Yngwie show from January 2018 is hilarious. He's on stage pretending it's still 1988 while the audience sits at their tables with food and drinks.

Love the way the band have to cram into one corner of the stage to make way for the stunt Marshall stacks.

I thought this LA Guns tune from last year had some energy.

That is pretty good. I've never really listened to L.A. Guns - did he always sing with that weird in-between accent?

That's better than I was expecting it to sound. Also, Tracii Guns looks surprisingly healthy all things considered. (Phil Lewis less so.)

That is pretty much Phil's voice. Some of their studio records got bunches of vocal overdubs. His singing actually sounding much improved on that newer LA Guns track, as his voice was shot for a while.
