POLL: Counting Crows – Recovering the Satellites

This one took me longer to get into at the time. But now there's been a few days over the years where I might say I like it better than the debut.

the tension and release on children in bloom is hitting me rn.

have you seen me lately really moves. think the back half of that song is among the best sounds they ever put together. cmon color me in.

The vocal harmonies/layering on daylight fading are very nice. overall i dont like the production on this as much as the first album. listened to a pod with duritz yesterday and he said the opposite, said he loves the first record but doesnt like the production as much compared to their later records.

I dated someone who was an obsessive CC fan back then, so I heard this album many times, and even saw them live, yet I can't recall anything about it.

This is such a great record.

"daylight fading" and "another horsedreamer's blues" are just gold and i'm not even sure i can say they're the best tracks. great re-evaluation album.

classic album front to back. honestly difficult not to vote for "angels" but this might be "another horsedreamer's blues"

This album had a fantastic flow. Always loved the “Monkey”/“Mercury” lead up to the Courtney Cox track.

long december. I hate this band but I do love that song. My father died the december around the time this album was released so it reminds me of that.

a long december is so great. put that on a few mix cds always right behind gone til november. the ultimate sad sap 1-2 punch
