XP: she's talked many times about how big a fan she is of chris brown (see for instance, ~15 mins into this video interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckij2MA5Fs4) so unfortunately it seems a little different to, say, when he was featured on "player" by tinashe (which tinashe later denounced and basically confirmed as the record label forcing her hand)

anyway i thought the album aside from that was ok, i like "trip" and "dangerous" was my favourite non-single
Pitchfork review of this that honed in on the formalist leanings and throwback interpolations of this just made me think about poor Sevyn Streeter and the non-event her album ended up being, which is just as good if not better than anything on this
