Thought process, sprung by that cover: a) that must be a death metal album ii) it looks a bit like the insane inside cover of Autopsy's Acts of the Unspeakable, I should listen 3) find 9-minute centrepiece and oh shit, this is like the Scottish wave of chest-ripped-open emo stuff of the late 00s/early 10s like There Will Be Fireworks, Twilight Sad and (almost) Frightened Rabbit D) four minutes in: I'm home.

Short version: quite good this, innit?
