I haven't heard the album, so I don't know if there's much difference, but Out Hud live = big stinking turd of a dud.

Last time I flew I heard a brilliant interview with The Streets on Gilles Peterson Worldwide, with Mike Skinner mucking about with his own lyrics to comic effect: "Heee's going to the chip shop - is he gonna get a kebab? Oh no! He's getting a cheeseburger!" (I'll add another gratuitous "Oh no!" for added ILM relevance)
Hurrah for the British Airways/BBC meritocracy...

Not sure if that was just the fact that my 1st long-haul flight was with the bargain Air India & that's what they had on the only listenable radio channel & so the association was made.

boards of canada...anything by boards of canada.
the last self-titled my bloody valentine is one favourite, loveless a little less as i try not to kill it by too much listening. which i actually haven't done yet though i must have listened to it hundreds of times.
yesterday i listened to in ribbons from pale saints. another perfect album to listen to while flying. i had the impression it sounded better in the air than on the ground. the melodies were crystal clear, the drumming perfect and a kind of fitting fluffiness when looking at the sky and clouds from the airplane window.
