J/k, this isn't my thing, but it is very good, and seems like they could be very successful if they're not already. Emo-pop melodies + hyper-proficient Youtube muso chops + good modern production flourishes + idk post-metalcore or something?

idk post-metalcore
aka djent, the weird proggy-yet-tuneful hybrid genre that i believe emerged from modern hardcore/metalcore. a lot of the acclaimed stuff from this genre i find exceedingly difficult to listen to but this band splits the difference very nicely

this is pretty good. i have a hard time with djent in general but this is sugary enough to cover it.

"fear" might be my favorite though, it straight up sounds like a dir en grey song

I think the vocals are holding my enjoyment back w/ these guys

For "sugary djent" vibes I really REALLY recommend the recent Caligula's Horse record, though it's more prog/less aggro than this

i like the vocals altho i do think they could be more clear ? sometimes hard to hear what hes saying. but his voice is good imo
