New album produced by Q Tip - I was initially wrong footed by this song but after second and third plays its considerable charms became more freakingly pronounced. Also the sound file without the video intrusions makes the melodic bed more obvious. He is always intriguing and fun - great elastic delivery and layers in each tune. Surely I am not the only one who can't wait for the record.

I like him, but didn't realize anything new was due (I've been out of it more than usual this year). Thanks for the heads up.

OUT! Very enjoyable so far - I like the short snappy sings and that we have various shades of light and dark here not just all a complete flip into the Daisy age.

GREAT - been listening all weekend. I think this record will have a lot of legs.

like to see him dialing back the crazy voice, going a bit back to pre hip Danny Brown

this album will be getting some serious full blast service tomorrow morning and therein it lies much of the fuck you + die arsehole attitude that helped me get rid of my last arsehole neighbours!

It feels like a more self-contained experience than Atrocity Exhibition. There's no 'When It Rain', though.

Still figuring out my feelings but so far, most coherent DB LP since XXX, and than God for that.

still prefer Old, but i appreciate how focused and easygoing this is. the first danny brown record where his trauma isn't front-and-center, but is an unwelcome visitor that pops into his mind when he's trying desperately to enjoy himself.

I don't know if it's his best, but for some of those reasons I think it's going to be the one I most often want to listen toAtrocity was super impressive but it's not often it feels like something I want to listen to

prob will be for me just cause of the dearth of the weirdo voice

agree with the sentiment about this compared to AE - this is a far more welcoming listen - not sure its at the expense of depth though - this has heaps of lines whizzing about in my skull although the tone is lighter I dont see this as any weaker

Atrocity Exhibition sounds like an invitation to hang out in the head of a man before he takes Adderall; this album sounds like the opposite.
