I could be boring and predictable and go with Lamar but I'm going with that Fat White Family album. One of the best albums this year so far.

kendrick vs. d'angelo is an internal argument i'll have to have before i make my own end-of-decade list. gonna go with peaking lights, cause i'm sure the other two will get plenty of love.

Picking Horse Lords' Interventions, great album, awesome live. (Lamar, Belong, Peaking Lights and PJ Harvey are other favourites from the list)

ehh, i was mostly kidding. . .but uhm, 6 feet beneath the moon i guess. the ooz is way different, so it's a case of you maybe liking one and not the other one.

archy also did a new place 2 drown, which is basically a hiphop record. besides the voice, it's really different than the king krule stuff.

I would probably single out "Endeavors For Never" as the big LJ from Black Up, the way it has kind of a musique concrete feel imo
