I think I still have the second and third volumes laying around somewhere, but I never had this one. This is probably the better one, before Hellcat went all in on the punkabilly bandwagon.

Junior year of high school a friend of mine had saved up enough money from working part-time at KFC to buy a used 1987 Chevrolet Sprint. I think he paid something like $500 for it, and then spent another $100 to have a CD player installed, which was pretty much the only thing in it that worked. It stalled constantly. It was funny. We laughed our asses off riding around in his shitty 1987 Chevrolet Sprint blasting dumb nineties ska punk on the shitty stock speakers. When Halloween came around, one of us had the cool idea to cruise down to the AM/PM, get ourselves a dozen eggs, and then drive around throwing them at trick-or-treaters (the teenage ones! we weren't sociopaths).
The first dozen were such a thrill that an hour later we were back at the AM/PM to get a second dozen. The night ended with us emptying the carton on another shitty economy car that was parked in a movie theatre parking lot with a young couple in the front. We plastered the windshield with our remaining four eggs and then took off cackling, s'per usual. But this time was different because a minute later our victims had found us down the road and were hauling ass after us. The chase lasted about ten intense minutes, zig-zagging through suburban streets in the foggy Halloween night, with their horn on the ENTIRE time. The horn was this tinny little high pitched hoarse screech that I will never forget. We were freaking out thinking they had a gun or a bat or something.
Eventually the Sprint stalled going around a corner and we made head-on contact with a fire hydrant, but thankfully we had braked hard enough so that the impact was just a thud, not a crash, no damage, no injuries, no spraying decapitated hydrant. Got the Sprint started again and took off right as the other car came up behind us. They stopped following after that. We only went egging maybe or two more times that year. Or maybe three.
Anyway, this album was constantly playing in that fucking car, and it's not even that good. Voodoo Glow Skulls song best song.
