"Shelter Song" is such a blatant Verve/Spiritualized pastiche that I want to knock it, but it's well-executed.

album is definitely heavily drawing on spiritualized etc. but they do it so well i have to respect it. might be their best yet

I'm cool with Iceage becoming the latest in a long, respectable line of Rolling Stones imitators with a twist.

New album is great, I think. Almost up there with Seek Shelter. Sometimes sounds like they wanted to make their crossover indie-poprock record, but couldn't be bothered to learn how to play like that, so it sounds like Iceage once again.

yea it’s a powerhouse. first album of theirs that has fully clicked for me

very charmed by the way he sings "omnious" instead of "ominous" on "ember" lol
