This is such an incredible album, really hard to pick. Gut vote is for "Subtle Energies Commission" though.

xp imago, either really. though it was the 21m version that made me realise how it is quite possibly the best thing he's ever done.

I have an imaginary DJ mix where Poet Is Priest slowly segues into the Aloof's Abuse. The transition really works in my head.

Great album. The first time I heard "45" was one of those pull the car over moments, iirc.

I was on a Julian kick for a while but moved on before hearing this album. I should remedy that.

Oh no, I missed this poll! I would have voted for The Tower. Love the whole prehistoric, mystical sex/gender archetype vibes. Tripped on research chemical 2CE on a Florida beach with that song in my head all night. I saw a lizard sitting on a bathroom wall gripping another lizard's disembodied tail in its mouth. Great night.
