There are three songs listed in that thread whose release predates that of "School's Out" in April 1972:

"Happy Xmas" December 71

Ezrin possibly wanted the James Brown effect combined with the recent chart success of Lennon and Ono.

I probably prefer "The Kids" as a song, queasy as it is, but "School's Out" uses the children better.

Tim Curry's version of Brontosaurus is a Bob Ezrin production from this period, which has screaming on it, presumably the sister in the lyrics so there's one more.

That's a great spot, but it sounds like sped-up Tim Curry instead of actual children to me. Ersatz Ezrin effects?
