Any chance Senor Skinner will ever hop the pond to tour the States?

I must admit, I'm a little behind, I just heard Orig. Pirate Material for the first time about 3 days ago...I was really quite surprised. He's got quite a way with words, not to mention his beats are very strong in a weird "unbound floatilla" kinda way.

He was here in October. I missed him as well, alas.

Yeah, he played LA, NY, Chicago. Hmm, maybe one other place (SF? Boston?). And, like the two of you, I missed out. I had to go to Ohio for a wedding the night he was in Chicago. My wife, who skipped the wedding weekend to do graduate studies, said it was rather brilliant, too.

ah, thanks nickalicious, I thought I was alone in being out of the streetz loop. I just heard it yesterday for the first time. I liked it but it's sooooooo english. Part of its charm I suppose.

I saw him live about three weeks ago. Started slow but turned into a fucking brilliant show. The solution with playing live instruments unison-ish with the beats worked well, and the visuals were a great mix of beautiful storytelling and funny hash-worshipping. Or was it the other way around?
Anyway, check him out, it's worth it!
