Classic, for Out Loud alone, because to me it wasn't in a style I expected and didn't even know I would like at the time, but of all the albums from that period that I played regularly, it's the one that's aged the best. I'm listening to it right now and it's still peerless.

The second album was so-so, I probably need to listen to it some more. Does anybody have their latest and/or comments on it?

Okay, I'm going out on a limb and saying that I apparently stumped all you blitches.

No, I really do like this band, and they're from Japan, I expect out of this entire board SOMEBODY would've heard of them.

Oh, and the second album, Umbra, is also good. Just not quite as amazing as the first (too much timestretching, and the Chuck D track is kind of disappointing).

I thought they were classic about 3 years ago. I really like their rock songs which we're sung very roughly in english(which I loved btw)! wow, yeah, I remember hearing 'push eject' and being rocked.. then buying out loud and listening the hell out of it for a month--haven't touched the album in about a year and a half..

Sounds total dud to my ears, maybe you're gonna have to gimme a hint here. A lot of people I know seem to think that "Out Loud" is a great record. I picked it up a while back and can't get into it at all. Am I approaching it the wrong way, or is it really as lame as I think? (Which is to say, extremely lame.)

eight months pass...
Revive!

Just got the new album, Photon - according to their site, it's a compilation of their last two Japanese releases. I've listened to it three times and it means absolutely nothing to me. It sounds like Sheep On Drugs circa 1994. Can this be right? Am I missing a huge point?
