So I am going to be away for roughly a week with limited internet access. With sinkah out & tom stickin' to ilx this leaves just tracer holding down the fort, I think.
I'll try to check in for emergencies if they do occur, but in the meantime, pls. try to keep to the basics:
A) don't post work-unsafe stuff directly, use links instead.
B) If you're starting a thread, try and categorize it so an admin doesn't have to.
[On that note, not that anyone's probably noticed, but I went on a mad categorization binge over the last week or so and cleared up a heap of the backlog, as well as created three new categories (end of 2002, "new things and microtrends" for scene discussions, and "matters of race (what to do with h.e.r.)" for undie vs. hata throwdowns and other thangs where all that race stuff comes into play.) We should really get a new mega-categorization project going sometime, for the roughly 2.5k left to go, although the search functionality helps things loads]
So, uh, use this thread to talk about thread categorization or simply to SHOUT FOR THE MODERATOR.

graham -- it would be a big help to just list categories in the thread display page itself & also let the admin option from a thread directly recategorize it.
