Inquiring minds want to know!

So, is this the most pretentious sub-Aphex twaddle ever conceived, a genuine comment on the role of the DJ in popular culture...or just a stoopid joke?

Whatever, I wish I'd been there!

ps. didn't someone release an album of "silence" recorded at various statespeople's memorial services last year?

: sighs :

Mr. Super Furry needs to read a bit more art history before treading into treaded-to-death territory.

what in the story indicates he might have been reading ilm?
also,i'm sure it's safe to presume he was aware of the historical precedents...

Robin it neglected to mention that the title of the event was "Oh no! Silence! Oh no!"

If he is indeed aware of the historical precedents, then we can only assume that he meant it as an affront to conceptualism. If that's the case, it makes one shit-ass-of-a-weak point.

Mr. Super Furry.... I've met Bill Drummond. I know Bill Drummond. Mr. Super Furry, you are no Bill Drummond.
