Hammherhead, for releasing two amazing albums whereas Helmet have just released a bunch of hit and miss ones.

I disagree. Helmet were a great band. Meantime is a fabulous album. Betty and Aftertaste have their moments but are generally on the plus side.
What about Band Of Susans?

The only Band of Susans I've heard was pretty good. Nothing to make me want to pick up more, though. I don't recall the title, as it was a friend's. The cover was black with a kind of blue design in the center?

Hope Against Hope? Page Hamilton isn't on that one I dont think.

ETHEREAL KILLER rules the roost, as far as I'm concerned. INTO THE VORTEX is more hit and miss, though "Zesta" rules. Never got into Helmet much, but "Unsung" or whatever it was was a surprisingly catchy single.

Hammerhead by a freakin' mile. Ethereal Killer- Lives up to its name. That first song when the vocals come in sounds like someone unexpectedly getting a hot poker where the sun don't shine. The Evil Twin EP is my Favorite AmRep release and there's some heavy competition for #1 from that label...Helmet had a Sabbath chug sometimes a little too much.
