Gideon tries to do the Iann Robinson subtly-sly cool-smirk thing in an effort to be disparaging towards those sinful pop acts when reporting news, but he can't - his timing is all over and he seems too much of a weenie to go through with it. He is kind of cute though, but those glasses should be changed now and again,and what's up with, like, his chest - how does he happen to look *buff* in those news segments?? Just observe next time, it's like they are filming it to show off his pecs, or maybe its the "indie-rock-snug" tight t-shirts he wears, but I think it has to do w/ the camera angles too, whereas in real life he's just another emaciated pseudoemo boy. Wtf?

Both are better than Dave "I'm out of the closet so i'm edgy now" Holmes, who seems to have disappeared altogether, yay.

Suchin Pak inhabits her persona a little too deeply, like the cue cards are her sacred text. It was amusing seeing her fail to break character for even a moment when David Lee Roth came on to her.

I can't stand that fatty Matt Pinfield lookalike. Suchin and Gideon are also both duds, but Sway is classic because it seems like he has some kind of mental disorder or something. The guy couldn't read a cue card to save his life.

Suchin annoys me for the soul reason that she once gave a news report explaining the Iraq conflict, and in it said something about plans Iraq had that they were "keepin' on the down-low." Granted, she probably didn't write it, but she said it, so she'll pay.

Gideon's off the cuff, unscripted sidecomments bug the shit out of me. Especially when he tries for wit, and oh how he fails. Ive noticed the chest thing too..., it's like he arches his back in a manner to show off his muscle-tits that he must be extremely proud of. His smug, faux-intellegence, which he constantly reaks off also bothers me. That and his attempts at indie-ness.

Once he was interviewing Mudvayne, and they jokingly said they were "math-metal," so he felt the need to name as many math-rock bands as he could to show off his "cred."

Didm't he start his own band, which was ridiculously terrible even beyond predictability, and since he was trying to focus on his "career" he took time off or something and they dropped him? I think his video got as much airplay as that stupid New Radicals song that year.

Simon Rex was and remains the hottest mtveejay alive, and not just because of the solo gay porn (which is why he had to be fored), Gideon has nothing on him. If he hadm't gotten fired, I bet they wouldn't have had to find and hire a Carson Daly, since he would have been the TRL guy from the start. Carson is so fat and pudy now, but I never liked him anyway, Ananda Lewis was always much better than him. She tried to leave to have a talk show but has now also just dissapeared, hasn't she ? I'm afraid I think Suchin is a dud. I tried v hard to like her but her "perky!" and "friendly!" and "happy!" personality not only get in the way of her news-reporting skills where she should be level-headed and objective (I can imagine her giving any news, even bad news like of someone's fatal stabbing, with a "it's magical!! vitamins! jazzercize is grebt!!" slappy-happy-attitde) but also deter her from coming across like a 3-rd dimensional person, you know, like, uhhh Serena Atchulspelledwrong (who's dud for other reasons.) Um. Anyway.
Yeah, we need an oriental hottie who speaks no english.
