It's a fine record and all, but do Ryan Adams fans actually buy it and listen to it over and over? Or do they just buy it because it's rare and semi-obscure and goes for $30 a pop on eb@y?

And can it work as a gateway record for Ryan Adams fans looking to get into early '80s hardcore?

Nardwuar: Do the guys with LSD get the most chicks?
Timothy lEary: The vulgar sordidness of that question is Olympic. "Getting chicks". I mean, what does that mean: "getting chicks"? That is a very vulgar 50's term. Man you are out of it! Out of it!

Earlier that interview:
Nardwuar: Is Prozac the legal LSD of the '90s?
Timothy: Where do you get these questions? Do you have committees of monkeys?I'm not an expert on legal drugs.. basically I'm not a fan of legal drugs. Think about it,. If a government legalizes a drug, there's got to be something wrong with it. Think about it: alcohol, things like that... Listen let's take a break here for a minute, and I'll ask you some questions.

'Vulgar sordidness' is the point. Score one for the human serviette.

Seriously, can someone make a real case for this guy? Aside from the quantity of material he produces, what makes himm special to you?
