I thought a lot of the movie was pretty funny but a lot of it stunk as well (the love story was just a lot of hot air) and that in real life, people who act like those fools are skrags, no hipsters! No one who is a creep is cool.

Vinyl is terrific, but it's a documentary, not a date movie. Which is probably your point, but it's like comparing apples and oranges. Still, I guess I'd rather read a bunch of threads about how people would slit their wrists if they were like the people in Vinyl than if they were the people in Hi Fidelity.
