Got the new Trad Gras Och Stenar reissues,Djungelns Lag and Mors Mors. Quite good in a not so heavy we like the Greatful Death Sorta way. How do their other albums hold up? I love, love ALGARNAS TRADGARD-"Framtiden är ett Svåavande Skepp, Förankrat i Forntiden" and the Parson Sound double cd. I prefer Harvester to International Harvester and can do without Bo Hanson-"Sagan Om Ringen".

BTW those Stephen Malkmus quotes. Talk about an attempt for hipness....

the other trad gras albums (s/t & gardet 1970) are pretty consistent with the ones you have, but with more of the rock happening, a little less laid back. if you like parson sound and harvester (more than international harvester?!?) you should enjoy them.

as an aside, i don't understand why so many people dislike the bo hansson "lord of the rings" release - is it just some kind of fear of nerdishness due to the title? i think it's a great record, up there with some of more atmospheric german stuff (cosmic jokers, ash ra tempel, popul vuh). and, hey, el-p sampled a track from "magician's hat" on the cann ox album.
