Radio 4 vs Girls Aloud vs Hithouse (Dutch producer whose track became the theme to The Mary Whitehouse Experience on TV of course)

i guess i'll go with Radio 4 though - mainly because it reminds me of 'Girls On Film' so much, has there been much talk of 'Gotham' on here?

Sound of the Underground, coz it's the only one I've heard.

I was hoping this would be an Adventures In Stereo thread.

I used to like a track called 'Jack to the Sound' by Fast Eddie Smith (Chicago House c.1988). In my mind the lyric on that song says 'jack to the sound of the underground' but maybe I'm confusing it with the Hithouse thing. Can anyone clarify?

david, i can't place the fast eddie track you mention but i'm pretty sure that the "jack to the sound of the underground" sample wasn't confined to the hithouse record.

I think the Fast Eddie track must be the original then. The track had verses as well as the hook. And (it's coming back to me now) a section where the vocal hook was exposed so could easily have been sampled.
