What do you look for in official band websites? Pics? Stories? Comprehensive list of equipment? Cartoons? What would you like to see more bands include?

neon hunk

Too bad the Neon Hunk live experience wasn't as mind-altering as the web site.

hstencil,
they altered my mindstate on 2 occasions and i've never recovered.

it's probably because you were too hopped up on those williamsburg designer drugs and/or aqua-net flashbacks to get a dose of this fresh hyper-reality mmmhmmm.

gygax!, Tuesday, 21 January 2003 21:56 (twenty-three years ago)

either that, gygax!, or I was so bored by the sub-par opening acts that nothing Neon Hunk could do, short of on-stage decapitation, would truly get my oh-so-bored-now-I-live-in-New-York self back up to steam.

Naw, really, they were okay, but do we really need more bands with masks?

Duh!

More music : Mp3s of demos that didn't get released, demos for things that did, (lot's of) exclusive remixes, samples for you to make your own remixes, accapela versions for making bootlegs, recordings of funny conversations during recording, samples of the band playing with the new equipment they just bought.

It makes sense right! If you're a fucking band, we like you for your music!

(Oh, but apart from that, of course, as I've said before, Momus's website is the best evah!)

"you are all gay ass holes"

Is it just me or has the quality of trolling really deteriorated lately?

Heh, that The band website is done bya teacher at my school, heck, he taught the Linux class I took last year. Whee!
I agree, that's one helluva Band/band site.

Anyways, official band sites, the most important things for me are a) News, B) Tour dates, C) Discography including a full song or two for download (I'm too structure-oriented to get much out of short samples)
Anything past that is really just frosting, though it's always fun to find things like tour diaries etc.
Oh, and please do not make¨a superfancy flash website. Hate hate hate!

Øystein H-O (Øystein H-O), Friday, 9 January 2004 14:12 (twenty-two years ago)

I've not been there recently, but the Ash site was :

Good) -> Lots of mp3's for Bootlegs, entire concerts going back way back,

Bad) -> Flash animations by the truckload...
