it's probably because you were too hopped up on those williamsburg designer drugs and/or aqua-net flashbacks to get a dose of this fresh hyper-reality mmmhmmm.

Naw, really, they were okay, but do we really need more bands with masks?

More music : Mp3s of demos that didn't get released, demos for things that did, (lot's of) exclusive remixes, samples for you to make your own remixes, accapela versions for making bootlegs, recordings of funny conversations during recording, samples of the band playing with the new equipment they just bought.
It makes sense right! If you're a fucking band, we like you for your music!
(Oh, but apart from that, of course, as I've said before, Momus's website is the best evah!)

Is it just me or has the quality of trolling really deteriorated lately?

Anyways, official band sites, the most important things for me are a) News, B) Tour dates, C) Discography including a full song or two for download (I'm too structure-oriented to get much out of short samples)Anything past that is really just frosting, though it's always fun to find things like tour diaries etc.Oh, and please do not make¨a superfancy flash website. Hate hate hate!

Good) -> Lots of mp3's for Bootlegs, entire concerts going back way back,
Bad) -> Flash animations by the truckload...
