An old chestnut returns.

The Unabomber would use a walkman?

die9o (dhadis), Friday, 24 January 2003 19:22 (twenty-three years ago)

Alice North, Friday, 24 January 2003 19:50 (twenty-three years ago)

Wooden screws.

(And I don't mean the band.)

Paula G., Friday, 24 January 2003 19:50 (twenty-three years ago)

"I Wanna Destroy You"

The Unabomber would use a walkman?

Cassettes are analog recordings, aren't they? Might be low-tech enough for him.

j.lu (j.lu), Friday, 24 January 2003 20:30 (twenty-three years ago)

Cassettes are one thing, but the walkman is something else. It helps bring on the increased fragmentation of society by cocooning everyone in his or her own sound-world.

Or uh sumthin'.

die9o (dhadis), Friday, 24 January 2003 20:36 (twenty-three years ago)

He'd like the Band.

Amateurist (amateurist), Friday, 24 January 2003 21:10 (twenty-three years ago)

Kaczynski went to Cal Berkeley and studied mathmatics, so I would have to say 60s SF scene music (his fav. Steve Miller Band "Children of the Future") or perhaps some early prog rock (both HP Lovecraft lps).

He probably would have lps and one of those hand wound turntables out in his shack.

earlnash, Friday, 24 January 2003 21:20 (twenty-three years ago)

Run On's "Miscalculation" single.
