I know there's not a whole lotta pro-GBV sentiment in this joint, especially when it comes to Fading Captain, but has anyone heard this yet? I'd be interested to know if its worth purchasing and what it sounds like in general.
Thanks

It's probably only worth purchasing if you need everything Pollard. It's two very pretty melodies ("Captain Black", "Harrison Adams"), some dirges, and some Nightwalker-esque basement screeching. And I like the scary, slowed-down 3 Dream Bag sample used as an intro to "Red Ink Superman" (the song itself is a chorusless rocker in the "My Thoughts are a Gas" tension-builder vein).

It's the shortest and least essential of the solo albums. Don't expect a whole lot and you might enjoy it.

Great cover art.
