i named my kitty Helsinki. all place names are feminine or masculine sounding (f. helsinki, andorra, florence - m. lichtenstein, inchon, stockholm) and there's the odd androgyn too like japan. next pet i own gets the name addis ababa cos it's so prog/rephlex i can't stand it.
